Contact salesNo. Observra connects to your existing IP cameras over RTSP. We work with all the common UK brands, Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch, and others. Older analogue cameras will need an encoder or replacement to expose an RTSP stream, we'll advise during the site survey.
Never. Observra's AI runs entirely on a small computer at your site, no footage is transmitted anywhere. Only alert metadata (timestamp, event type, camera ID and a still frame) is sent to your dashboard. Your video stays in your building, satisfying UK GDPR and the Surveillance Camera Code of Practice.
The model targets a mAP50 above 0.70 across 5 weapon classes, pistols, knives, machetes and behaviour patterns. False positives are minimised through confidence thresholds you control, and we keep improving the model with real-world feedback from UK deployments.
You receive an instant notification by SMS, email, Slack or Microsoft Teams with the event type, camera location, timestamp and a still frame. Your team can view the live feed from the dashboard and take action, and the alert can also be pushed to an alarm receiving centre by webhook.
Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. Annual plans are paid upfront and carry a 20% discount. Enterprise contracts are negotiated case by case, typically 12 or 24 months with an SLA.
